Name: Claude Guy Carter
Claude Guy Carter, age 62, of Roanoke, Alabama died Saturday, February 27, 2010.
Mr. Carter was born June 13, 1947 in Coffee Co. He was retired from BP (Amoco Fabrics & Fibers) and was currently a department manager for Mohawk Industries. He was an avid hunter & fisherman and was preceded in death by his father, Denzil Carter.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Warnock Carter of Roanoke, AL; daughters & sons-in-law, Shelia Carter & Brent Vitters of Atlanta and Cheryl Carter & Keith Lyons of Thomasville; grandchildren, Shea Lyons, Ava Vitters and Lilly Caroline Vitters; mother, Beadie Tanner Carter of Denton; sisters, Myrtle Chaney of Douglas and Greta McLeod of Hazlehurst; brother Earl S. Carter of Denton; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services - Tuesday, March 2nd at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. David Miller & Rev. Keith Yawn officiating
Interment - Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery
