Name: Timothy Ray McCumbers
Timothy Ray McCumbers, age 41, of Hazlehurst died Sunday, January 31st at the Jeff Davis Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. McCumbers was born July 29, 1968 in Chatham Co and resided in Jeff Davis Co. He was a log truck driver and was preceded in death by his father, Harry McCumbers.
Survivors include sons, Brandon McCumbers, Wesley McCumbers, Troy McCumbers, & Christian McCumbers all of Hazlehurst; mother & step father, Patricia & Stanley McCorkle of Dearing; sister, Miranda Gail Bird of Daytona Beach, FL; brothers, Gary Lee McCumbers of Metter and Harvey Eugene “Scooter” Taylor, Jr. of Waynesboro; and several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm from Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Smith officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 2nd from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
The family will assemble at the home of Patricia McCumbers 64 Kemp Rd.
Funeral arrangements for Timothy Ray McCumbers, age 41, of Hazlehurst are under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
