Name: Brandon C. Herrington
Brandon Christopher Herrington, age 27, of 3 Swann Lake Road Hazlehurst, died December 29, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Herrington was born March 2, 1982 in Richmond County and had resided in Hazlehurst all of his life. He was Valedictorian and Star Student of the Jeff Davis High School Class of 2000 and graduated Summa Cumlaude from Brewton Parker College where he was the recipient of The Music Award in 2004 & 2005. He was the pianist at Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Drew and Melba Herrington of Hazlehurst; several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 1st at 11:00am at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. Ben Glosson, Steve Glosson and Rev. Robert Wigley officiating. Interment will follow in the Zoar Cemetery.
Mr. Herrington will lie in state one hour prior to service.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Southside Baptist Mission Fund.
The family will assemble at the residence, 3 Swann Lake Road, Hazlehurst.
Funeral arrangements for Brandon Christopher Herrington, age 27, are under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
