Name: Margaret Pace
Margaret Louise Ursrey Pace, age 84, of Hazlehurst died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at The Pavilion in Baxley after an extended illness.
Mrs. Pace was born November 24, 1925 to the late Thomas Jefferson Ursrey and the late Trellis Marie Key Ursrey Cain. She was the widow of Charles Pace and was a home maker and a member of Satilla Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Linda & Glynn Aycock of Hazlehurst and Marie & Mario DiRoso of Ft. Myers, FL; son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Melissa Pace of Hazlehurst; sister, Betty McCall of Denton; grandchildren, Reggie Aycock, Chuck Aycock, Grant Pace, Megan Davenport, & Jesse Pace; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, December 8th at 11:00 AM from Satilla Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Smith & Rev. Andy Williams officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Actice pallbearers were Jesse Pace, Grant Pace, Chuck Aycock, Reggie Aycock, Shawn Davenport, & G. C. Herrington.
Honorary pallbearers were the Staff of Southern Care Hospice, Tammy Johns, Lottie McLillian, Tammy Copeland, Connie Carter, and all friends in attendance of the funeral service.
Musical selections were rendered by Angie McCall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Southern Care Hospice.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
