Name: Wynona P. Gillem
Wynona P. Gillem, age 83, of Hazlehurst died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Gillem was born February 25, 1926 in Covington, KY to the late Frank William Dehner and the late Beatrice Piper Dehner. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church where she served as a greeter. She was Vice-President of Condoboard of Mainlands Community in Pinellas Park, FL.
Survivors include her husband, Vern Gillem of Hazlehurst; daughters, Nancy Moore of Hazlehurst and Joyce Forlizzo of St. Petersburg, FL; step children, Patrick Gillem of Three Rivers, MI, Ted Gillem of Pierceton, IN, Shannon Gillem of Michigan City, IN, Shawn Gillem of Syracuse, IN, Tim Gillem and Jim Gillem both of the 82nd Airborne; sister Judith Yowler of Florence, KY; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 15th from 1-3pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15th at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Dr. Ben Glossen officiating.
Interment will be Monday, November 16th at 5pm at Memorial Park Gardens in St. Petersburg, FL with Dr. Ralph Wilson officiating.
The family will assemble at the residence, 5 Lawton Crosby Rd.
Funeral arrangements for Wynona P. Gillem, age 83, of Hazlehurst are under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
