Name: Ernest Richard Rollins
Ernest Richard Rollins, age 62, of Hazlehurst died Thursday, Nov. 12th in the Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Rollins was born July 20, 1947 in Jeff Davis Co. to the late Clinton K. Rollins and the late Viola Griffin Rollins. He was a retired heavy machine operator with the City of Hazlehurst and a member of Graham Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Willie Mae Lamedola.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Rollins of Hazlehurst; daughter, Kimberly Rollins of Hazlehurst; step son, Willie Watts of Hazlehurst; sisters, Lucille Griffin of Baxley, Henrietta Young of Lincolnton, and Linda Ann Mullis of Hazlehurst; brothers, Delmis Rollins and Clinton Rollins, Jr. both of Hazlehurst and Edward Rollins of Cochran.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Nov. 13th at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Toler officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
The family will assemble at the residence, 51 Bearfoot Ln.
Funeral arrangements for Ernest Richard Rollins, age 62, of Hazlehurst are under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
